Stunning in both its concentration of wildlife and proximity to the bustling streets of the city, Nairobi National Park is a spectacular introduction to Kenya. Hitting the road just before six in the morning, we rushed to the park in Benard’s uncle’s matatu minivan, a mere 20 minutes from the center, to catch the animals at the prime viewing period in the morning.
