And to think this was in a park - can you imagine how the land was before all of the poaching and development? As for elephants showing the same emotions as humans... I read a story once of an elephant hunt. After her husband killed an elephant, a lady went up to it to express how sorry she was (she had no idea her husband was going to kill anything and she was completely distraught). As the elephant lay there dying, tears were rolling down its face. Makes you realize that we may not be as "superior" as we think. Anyhow, y'all are doing a wonderful job of capturing the moment and feeling. Keep up the good work! These photos of your journey are by far my favorite.
