With such a storied past, Berlin, Germany makes for an widely interesting city to explore. Our friend Ayla Kiran called her current home a place “haunted by history.” It’s a great summation - scars ranging from the visible like the Berlin Wall that divided the city between the West (capitalist) and the East (communist) Germany, to the discrete, like mutterings under one’s breath about people from the other side, still play an important role in the daily life of the city. From the magnificent dome of the Reichstag, the Berlin Wall, to the heights of the Fernsehsturm there’s much to do in Berlin. Explore the city in today’s photos…
