Vatican city is a must see for any visitor to Rome and Saint Peter’s Basilica is the Vatican’s central shrine. A site of pilgrimage among Catholics the world over, Saint Peter’s is a grandiose display of the might and opulence of the Roman Catholic church and is remarkably stunning to all visitors regardless of their religious affiliation.
