Today we headed 20 minutes outsideĀ Galle to the seaside town of Koggala to catch a glimpse of one of Sri Lanka’s iconic scenes, the stilt fishermen of the southern coast. In water about chest deep and protected by a breakwater, the fishermen sit on stilts that they’ve planted before. See the stilt fisherman in today’s photo gallery.
