The ancient city of Anuradhapura

ANURADHAPURA, Sri Lanka – Home to some of of Sri Lanka’s most prosperous ancient civilizations, Anuradhapura still draws thousands to its numerous historic sites. One of the most visible remnants of the ancient Sri Lankan civilizations that flourished here is the Ruwanveli Saya stupa, standing at almost 300 feet tall.
