We arrived in Costa Rica's capital city well past midnight and planted ourselves at the nearest hotel we could find. In the morning, we decided to move to a well-reviewed hostel across town. Somewhere between paying for our rooms and getting the room itself, Thushan's wallet was stolen. Between cleaning up the mess from that, and just being generally tired from our late night travels, we were not in much of a mood to explore the city.
