This last self-portrait before we head off gives us a chance to introduce some of the characters you'll see along the way. Mike Kurtz, on the far left, will be joining the trip from Brazil onward. Alicia Conway, Thushan's girlfriend and our home base chief, will also appear along the way. Brian Rogers and Thushan Amarasiriwardena will start the trip by heading to Central and South America.
