Like nearly everything else in Mexico, shops tend to show up in districts. We've seen shoe districts, candy districts, and even ceiling fan districts, where nearly every store on the street sells the same thing. With no barber shops in the central area, we had to walk about 10 blocks, where we found three, all bunched together. We're still trying to understand the economics of it all.
