Far out in the Gulf, we could see three oil rigs like this one. Much of the country's oil comes from this region, making Tabasco the Texas of Mexico. There is only one option when it comes to filling up your car in Mexico: the state-owned oil company, PEMEX, which sets the price for a liter of gas nationwide.
