We're in the dog days of summer in Brazil. Since we're in the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are reversed and February is the equivalent August back home. Needless to say, it's hot here. So hot that you'll regularly see people go out of their way to walk in slivers of shade. "Agua do coco," or coconut water, is a popular drink to escape from the heat.
