To say we merely like açai would be an understatement: we're addicted to it. Three weeks into our trek through Brazil, we've yet to go a day without eating this delicious treat. Hitting the palate somewhere between blueberry and bubblegum, açai is generally eaten in the morning - or for us, whenever the craving hits us. This cool treat, unique only to Brazil comes from a fruit that grows high atop palm trees in the Amazon rainforest, and tastes so good, we had to see how it was made.
