The mixture gets blended up into a sorbet and is served with bananas and granola. Studies have found that açai is nearly a miracle fruit, with 533 calories, 8 grams of protein, and 44 grams of fiber (the recommended amount for an entire day) in a 100g serving. It also contains a great deal of fat (32g), but also contains fatty acids like omega-6 and beta-sitosterol, that act as anti-inflamitories and cholesterol-reducers.
