Some Brazilians favor vodka over the somewhat harsher "cachaça" in their "caipirinhas." When vodka is used as a substitute in the cocktail it is called a "caipiroska." The name of the cocktail also changes depending on which fruit is used. For example a mango-vodka combination would be called a "mangaroska," and a grape-vodka combination would be called an "uvaroska."
