Both e-mail and Skype Internet telephone service have been indispensable for us during our travels. To avoid dropping money on hotels and hostels, we've spent a good deal of time planning, arranging places to stay with friends and family who live abroad. Here, Thushan uses Skype to call his cousin Samali in London for just 2 cents per minute.
