After some time, we decided to get a bit creative (and a bit dirty). By putting our New England northeaster experience to the test, we pretended that the mud was snow and quickly became a displaced group of experts in dealing with the situation. We placed the strong plastic floor mats around the back tires and prepared to give it another go.
