04/01/2008 | Location: Tsavo East, Kenya
A quick flash of our receipt from the day before and we were set. We hired the same driver for the same bargain basement price of 5,500 Ksh ($89) for four hours, bringing the total cost of our two-day safari (including entrance to the park, transportation, food, and lodging) to approximately $128 per person. We had to keep reminding ourselves that even though it was steep for LongJaunt, the trek truly was a steal.
