On our first full day here in Amsterdam, a nice Dutch breakfast topped our list of to-dos. Using Alicia's last day of her travels with us as an excuse to splurge, we thoroughly enjoyed this chocolate covered waffle topped with whipped cream. The city enjoys a wide variety of top-notch international cuisine but the local fare is not to be overlooked, especially not the waffles.
