Three bridges designed by famed Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava are new additions to the city. The bridges, which opened in 2007, are some of the latest engineering feats accomplished by Calatrava, who is world renowned for his unique style that features modernist engineering inspired by elements of the natural world.
