From above, the Duomo and tower of Florence's town hall at Palazzo Vecchio stand out above the city's buildings. The view from the Duomo is said to be spectacular, but we decided to skip the two-hour line and get a view of the city from a atop the Piazzale Michelangelo, a small hill that overlooks Florence from across the Arno River.
