In the morning, we thanked Sindy over coffee and took off to catch a train back to Bologna. Sindy is a Colombian whose parents moved to Sicily when she was 6, and she now studies Spanish and Japanese in Florence. She and her dog Juri were great hosts during our few days there, taking us to concerts and introducing us to their friends.
