The island of Hvar

At the ferry port we grabbed a couple of snacks at the nearby grocery store and hopped back on board the towering Marko Polo for our ride back to the mainland. The boat was crowded with families taking day trips from Split, and seats outside on the sunny side of the deck were snatched up within minutes.
