Hvar is also a destination for the world's boating elite, and its harbor plays host to a number of lavish yachts like the one pictured here. The town has been successful in attracting tourists summer after summer, billing itself as "the sunniest place in Europe," with an average of 2,715 hours of sunlight per year. Unfortunately, we neglected to pack the sunscreen.
