Istanbul's high population density, buzzing street life and winding mazes of streets, alleys and staircases make it an ideal city to explore on foot. Forget trying to follow street signs; it's best to get your bearings and then head in the general direction of your destination. After breakfast/lunch we headed through the local neighborhood towards the shores of the Bosporus strait.
