05/11/2008 | Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Istanbul's high population density, buzzing street life and winding mazes of streets, alleys and staircases make it an ideal city to explore on foot. Forget trying to follow street signs; it's best to get your bearings and then head in the general direction of your destination. After breakfast/lunch we headed through the local neighborhood towards the shores of the Bosporus strait.
