Though we can't attest to the contents of the Sursock Museum, the outside of the building is certainly compelling. The Gemmayzeh and Achrafiye neighborhoods reflect a good deal of Lebanon's French influence as seen in the architecture of the building. Also, while store signs tend to be in Arabic or English elsewhere in the city, French certainly dominates the signage here.
