The stilt fishermen

Shortly after the massive tsunami that hit Sri Lanka and other parts of the Indian Ocean in 2004, finding fishermen like these out in the water was a rare sight. Slowly but steadily, the industry has rebuilt itself, keeping one of Sri Lanka's memorable traditions intact.
