Mumbai is a true city of contrasts. It is India's biggest business hub, accounting for roughly 40 percent of the country's GNP, and is home to the world's largest film industry, Bollywood, which pumps out about 900 feature-length films each year. Yet alongside the economic growth, starlets, and stars are some of the country's largest and poorest slums, home to about five million of the city's residents.
