Though many come just to gaze upon the city from the heights of the impressive Meherangarh Fort that towers over Jodhpur, walking in the maze of the old city's streets gave us a true taste of the city. Between being in awe of a city doused in blue, and repulsion from the squalor of open sewers and cow droppings dotting the roads, we were equally turned on, and off by the city.
