We ventured away from the cliche for a dinner at a local roti shop. It is here that we were introduced to our new best friend, Thai iced tea. At 10 baht (about 30 cents) per glass, we instantly fell in love and ordered another round. The mixture consists of Thai tea (a powdered tea flavored with star anise, cinnamon, vanilla, with a hint of tamarind) and sweetened condensed milk.
