Railay Beach was much more developed than we had originally thought, and that is most definitely an understatement. After a bit of a search, we managed to find some charming bungalows on Railay's east side. At 400 baht ($12) per night, they were a steal compared to a room at Railay's biggest resort, which runs from the east side to the west. A night there sets one back about 12,195 baht ($366) – yikes!
