Our last stop in Thailand before crossing the border into Laos, the Northern Thai city of Chiang Rai is home to wooden saxophone maker Sawad Dejprakune (at left). Mr. Dejprakune is famous around town for his masterfully hand-crafted wooden soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, which he played for us at his small shop.
