7: Isla de Ometepe

Things to do here are endless: Visitors can hike up a volcano and take a dip in the pond in the crater at the top, bike along the dirt roads of the island, lay about on the freshwater beach, or take a horseback ride along the coast. Whatever it is, this quiet island is far from boring. -T.A.
